Jurassic Cafe’s cuisine will be at the helm of Universal Studios Hollywood’s Executive Chef Marie Grim, and will be Costa Rican-themed to pay homage to the location of the actual Jurassic World in the films. Guests can find items like Sweet Corn Cakes with Slow Roasted Mojo Pork, Spicy Mojo Jackfruit, Citrus Glazed Chicken, Fresh Roasted Red Snapper and the Isla Burger (getting its name from the fictional island name Isla Nublar). Here is a first look at some of the entrees you can find at Jurassic Cafe this summer.

In addition to the featured entrees, there will also be a a variety of starters guests can get to share (or not share) as well. Some of the starters include Chorizo and Potato Empanadas, Crispy Lettuce Leaf Roll with Shrimp, Tropical Fruit Salad, and Pomegranate Guacamole with Plantain Chips.

All of the entrees at Jurassic Cafe will be served with fresh green papaya salad and Costa Rica’s national dish, Gallo Pinto – traditional rice and beans.

The themed cuisine really helps sets the scene for Jurassic World at Universal Studios Hollywood, as guests can continue to be immersed in what it might be like to step foot on Isla Nublar and visit Jurassic World for themselves.

Jurassic World—The Ride and Jurassic Cafe are set to open this summer, but Universal Studios Hollywood has set no exact opening date at this time. We will let all of you know as soon as we do, and hopefully see you on Isla Nublar later this summer.
