Is this Farewell to Breakfast at Docking Bay 7 in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge?

We’re not sure if you’ve heard…but there’s breakfast at Docking Bay 7 in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. It’s been around since opening day featuring a small menu that ticks the basic breakfast boxes that has now been whittled down to just three days a week. After learning of the limited-day offerings, now only Friday through Sunday, we decided to finally try the menu just in case it becomes a distant memory.

The first thing we noticed was how empty the restaurant was. Barely a handful of people inside and very few cast members in sight. Could this be caused by the early morning rush of crowds to Smuggler’s Run? This is very likely in our opinion.

Both Danny and myself have had our eyes on the Rising Moons Overnight Oats. To fully gauge if this location would be missed, we also ordered the Bright Suns Morning meal, complete with Mustafarian Lava Roll.

Let’s start with the Bright Suns Morning Breakfast. For $10.99 (before any discount) you can get a single serving of a three cheese egg bite, pork sausage, purple potato hash, and a mini Mustafarian Lava Roll.

This breakfast was ‘just okay’. This seemed to be an attempt at a sample-around-the-galaxy type meal and it fell short. Aside from the delicious sausage (that you can also find in a Ronto Wrap) and the Mustafarian Lava Roll (that you can get a larger serving of here and at Oga’s Cantina): this meal is not a hit. We really did try to enjoy it, but without the availability of condiments like ketchup or hot sauce on this planet, this dish fell flat. The Mustafarian Lava Roll is definitely something we’d love to get a full size serving of in the future though! It’s like a cinnamon bun with a melted Red-Hot on top and we just couldn’t get enough. We think it’s worth the $5.99 standalone price tag.

The real star of the breakfast menu is hands down the Rising Moons Overnight Oats.

It’s the perfect blend of yogurt soaked oats topped with fruity boba pearls and seasonal fruit, including mango, dragonfruit and a variety of berries. For $6.99 (before discount) its a steal and tastes as good as it looks. Not a single bite was left behind!

If you’re looking for a basic breakfast while visiting Batuu, we highly recommend at least stopping by for a Mustafarian Lava Roll or Rising Moons Overnight Oats to hold your hunger off as you wait in line for Smuggler’s Run…because during the days they are offered, Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo will likely be finished with breakfast time by the time you get off the ride as breakfast ends promptly at 10:00am.
