Matterhorn Bobsleds Closed During the Week for Refurbishment

Starting October 28, the Matterhorn Bobsleds will be closed until November 2 for annual scheduled refurbishments and safety inspections. Prior to this scheduled downtime, the left side (Tomorrowland side) of the Matterhorn Bobsleds was already closed indefinitely as Disney looked into and repaired the portion of the mountain that became dislodged.

The section of the Matterhorn facade (nothing ride related) that became dislodged, was shortly after a series of earthquakes that struck Southern California. No official word on whether or not the earthquakes played any role in the damage to the mountain facade.

If you are making plans to visit the Disneyland Resort for the Halloween holiday, keep in mind the closure of the Matterhorn Bobsleds. Always make sure to check the Disneyland website or App for the latest updates on attraction closures and downtimes.
